Robert G. Phillips of Newberry died Friday September 23, 2022. He was living in Chiefland at the time of his death. He was 62.
He graduated from Newberry High School, and served briefly in the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Elizabeth (“Maybeth”) Phillips. He is survived by his parents Bob and Gena Phillips of Newberry; his brother Michael Phillips; his sisters Beth Rowe and Paula Willis; and several other family members. Robert’s family held a private graveside service on Tuesday September 27th at the Jonesville Cemetery.
