William George Waddell

WADDELL, WILLIAM GEORGE, was born in Camaguey, Cuba on August 12, 1928 and passed away peacefully on June 17, 2007 in Gainesville, FL., surrounded by his loving family. William Waddell is survived by his three sons, Michael Waddell and his wife Dennys and family, Mark and David Waddell of South Florida and Gainesville, respectively, his stepchildren Mercedes Weitzen and Paull Morse of Henderson, NC and Carol Bohannon of California. His loss is also mourned by his sister, Leilani C. Cook, her husband Bruce Howland, and their daughters Edan, Hope and Morgan Howland-Cook of Gainesville. In his long and productive life, William Waddell was a Special Forces Green Beret, a realtor, contractor, and court translator. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 22, 2007 at 3:00 PM at the Milam Funeral Home, 311 S. Main Street, Gainesville, Fl. 32601 (352) 376-5361.
