Robert Dean "Bob" Everett

EVERETT, Robert Dean "Bob" Age 57, of Brooksville, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 26, in Gainesville. Bob was born in Atlanta, GA, on Nov. 3, 1953, and grew up in Tampa. Bob graduated from Plant High School and Harding University (1976). In Brooksville, he lived and worked as a counselor, teacher, and social worker, and was a member of Saint Anthony the Abbot Catholic Church. Coaching youth sports, along with playing golf with his boys, were some of Bob's much loved activities. Those who knew Bob will forever remember his gentle, loving spirit, his great sense of humor, his humility, and his faithful love for God and his family. He is survived by his wife, Judy; children Christy Shannon, Cal Everett, and Clay Everett; his brother Harley (Wilma) Everett; and grandchildren Delaney, Molly, and Brendan Shannon. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Bob's memory to Hernando Youth League or First Tee of Brooksville. Bob's life will be celebrated at a funeral mass at 10:30 am on Thursday, March 3, at Saint Anthony the Abbot Catholic Church, 20428 Cortez Blvd, Brooksville, FL, 34601.
