Nate Blair

Nathan “Nate” Blair age 23 of Alachua passed away at his home Tuesday, August 13, 2024, following a long, strong battle with cancer. He was born June 14, 2001, in Gainesville to Asa and Anna “Cook” Blair. Nate graduated with the Class of 2020 from Santa Fe High School where he was pitcher for their baseball team, The Santa Fe Raiders. Nate loved being outdoors, whether it was playing sports, being on the beach, or just hanging out by the bonfire with his friends. He attended Canvas Church and was an avid Gator fan. Nate was preceded in death by his grandfather Richard Cook and his cousin Libby Cook. Left behind to cherish Nate’s memory are his parents Asa and Anna Blair; sister Callie Blair, brother Drayden Blair, along with grandparents Meta McClain and William Blair. Also left behind are numerous family members and a host of friends that will miss him dearly.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Nate on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 11:00 am at Canvas Church, located at 15551 Northwest US Highway 441, Alachua, Florida, 32615.
