Nancy Abbott

Nancy Lee Abbott, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and dear friend to many, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026 at the age of 91.

Born on August 28, 1934, she lived a life filled with love, strength, and generosity. She devoted herself to her family, always offering unwavering support, encouragement, and a warm place to land. As a wife, she shared a partnership built on commitment and deep affection. As a mother and grandmother, she created a legacy of kindness, laughter, and unforgettable memories that will continue to live in the lives she touched.

Known for kindness, humor, and resilience, she brought light to every room and comfort to every heart. Her friends describe her as loyal, uplifting, and generous, someone who could be counted on in both joyful and difficult moments.

She is survived by Buddy, her loving husband of 74 years, sister in law; Linda, daughter in law; Diana, grandchildren; Tim, Maribeth, Naomi, JT, Heather, Michael, Michael, Stacy, Adam, Christina and Gabriela, great grandchildren; Elizabeth, Jake, Emma, Dezarae, Greg and Zachary, and niece; Amy, who will continue to honor her by living their lives with the same love and grace she shared so freely. She was preceded in death by her children, Gene Abbott and Gail Green.

A memorial service will be held on January 31, 2026, at Milam Funeral Home, where family and friends will gather to celebrate her life and the profound impact, she had on those around her.

Her absence leaves a space that can never be filled, but her spirit, warmth, and love will remain in our hearts forever.
