Mary F. Roberts

Mary F. Roberts, 91, of Gainesville, Fla., died Tuesday, July 21, 2015, following acute kidney failure. She was born December 14, 1923, in Pensacola, Fla., a daughter of Judge and Mrs. L.L. Fabisinski. Mrs. Roberts was a 1945 graduate of Converse College in Spartanburg, S.C., with a bachelor's degree in music. She was a homemaker and piano teacher, whose students enjoyed participating in various activities open to young musicians in Florida. She was active in local, state and national music teacher's associations. Mrs. Roberts was a member of First United Methodist Church of Gainesville, extended from 1949. She was active in United Methodist Women, PEO Fellowship and Military Wives Association. Deceased is a daughter, Claudia Robert Baker. Surviving are her loving husband of 70 years, Leonidas H. Roberts; son David Howard Roberts; granddaughter Paige Brownlee Baker; grandson-in-law Kelving Shirprashad; and great-grandson Brian Shirprashad.
