Lillian Rowe

Mrs. Lillian Bernice Thomas Rowe, age 92 of Gainesville passed away Monday, December 23, 2024, at Shands Hospital following a brief illness. She was born March 15, 1932, in Perry to the late Cranford and Ola (Peeples) Thomas. Mrs. Rowe was a homemaker and enjoyed her pets, world-search puzzles, flowers, and especially her family. She was preceded in death by her brothers William, Carrol, Donald and Franklin Thomas and her sisters Dorothy Davis and Ola Mae Crispell and her son-in-law Jack Hacker. She is survived by children Sharron Bryant, Michael (Alicia) Rowe, and Teresa Hacker. Mrs. Rowe was lovingly called “Mee-maw” by grandchildren Aimee Michelle, Christopher Lee, Jeffrey Garrett, Gregory Michael, Rodney Earl, Wayne Keith, and James Steven; great grandchildren Breanna Michelle, Sawyer Jackson, Chloe Mikele, Ava Noelle, Sebastian Xavier, Annsley Jade, Garrett, Tyler, Morgan Ashley, Brett, Dawson, Brooke, and Jessica; great-great grandchildren A’zashia, Amiyah, Asher, Mila, Maren, and two on the way.
