Katie Ivey

Katie Lynn Ivey, 48, became free like a butterfly and fully healed as she walked into the arms of Jesus, her Savior, on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at her home surrounded by love.

Katie was born on August 11, 1977, to Melissa Weinacker and Bill Conner. She lived a life marked by strength, compassion, deep faith, and unwavering love for her family.

Katie was a devoted wife to Christopher Ivey and a loving mother to Danielle and Emma Ivey, who were the center of her world. She loved to travel, especially after becoming a nurse, a career that reflected her caring heart and desire to help others.

Katie was strong-willed, determined, and resilient. Her faith carried her through many trials in life, especially throughout her courageous battle with cancer. Even during difficult times, she continued to love fiercely, laugh loudly, and hold tightly to the people she cherished most.

Katie was preceded in death by her beloved fur baby, Gracie, whom she loved fiercely, and by her built-in best friend and brother, Ryan Perry.

Katie is survived by her siblings Derek Perry, Eric Perry, Teagan Perry Hall, and Tanessa Jones, along with many family members, friends, and loved ones who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

Though our hearts are broken, we find peace in knowing Katie is no longer in pain. Her love, faith, strength, and beautiful spirit will continue to live on in all who knew and loved her.
