Jeffrey Laurance Dow

Jeffrey Laurance Dow, Ph.D., age 69, of Newberry Florida, formerly of Miami, died Dec. 3, 2017. Born in Belfast, Maine, Jeff was a life-long educator. He taught at Miami's Ransom Everglades School, ran a private tutoring service, and worked with the Univ. of Florida's Lastinger Center to improve teaching and learning at schools throughout Florida. He is survived by his wife Marty Varnadoe Dow and many family members. Arrangements by Milam Funeral Home, Gainesville.
