Jared Roberts

–

Newberry, Florida

Jared Brett Roberts, also known as J-Red/Jared the Adjuster, embarked on his final adventure in Newberry, FL at the age of 46. He was born December 27,1978 in Spirit Lake, IA to Derald and Mary Jenene (Hickman) Roberts of Missouri. He spent most of his life in North Carolina which led to his lifelong love of the mountains and the outdoors.

Jared was proud to have earned a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology and History from East Carolina University and to work as an Archeologist until moving into the field of insurance adjusting in 2013 where he demonstrated his ambitious and charismatic nature to work his way up to being a Litigation Claims Adjuster.

Jared was a modern-day renaissance man with a courageous heart and a sense of humor that could light up even the darkest room. His favorite hobbies included golf, video gaming, game nights with friends and family, partnering for trivia contests with his wife, and passionately cheering on his Kansas City Chiefs at every opportunity. His love for life was only surpassed by his love for his wife, Ann, and their two beautiful and brilliant daughters, Emma and Harper. He was an inspiring force in their lives, and his unique blend of brutal honesty and compassionate caring made him the rock of the family.

Jared is survived by his loving wife Ann, his daughters Emma and Harper, his mother, Jenene, his siblings Nathan and Natalie, his nieces and nephew, his aunt and cousins, and countless friends. Jared is now reunited with his grandparents and father, Derald, who preceded him in 2021 and are now cheering on their beloved Chiefs to win a third Superbowl. His life and legacy will be remembered at a Celebration of Life (location/date/time to be announced).

We invite you to share your favorite memories and photos of Jared on his memorial page. Let's celebrate the life of this extraordinary man together, remembering his inspiring spirit, his courage, and his undying charisma. His story may have ended but his influence continues to inspire us all.
