James R. "Withlacoochee Slim" Repp Obituary (2002)

REPP, R. JAMES, AKA " Withlacoochee Slim " , died at his residence in Alachua, FL on Saturday, January 19, 2002, age 58. Born in Miami. Managed motorcycle and boat dealerships in Miami was a technician for Sears until retirement. U.S. Army veteran. Won awards for drag racing cars and road racing motorcycles. Currently working in his chestnut orchard in Alchua, where he has lived since moving from Miami in 1993. " Slim " was an active member in the Ft. White Gun Club and was an active cowboy action shooter. Jim was a wonderful father and loving husband for 30 years to wife - Marsha Slater Repp, daughter - Cinnamon Rose Repp and her boyfriend, Ben, son - Dax (Christy) Repp, granddaughter Haley Repp, and is also survived by his brother - Ralph (Wanda) Repp, sisters- in-law Marion Appel, Linda Rountree and Suzanne Beatrice, and his buddy - Amos. Jim will be truly missed. Memorial services were held @ 5:00 PM Sunday, January 20th at Milam Funeral and Cremation Services in Gainsville, FL.
