Glenn Surratt

Glenn Surratt, born October 29, 1965 in Deousindre, France, passed away on February 11, 2025, in Gainesville, Florida, where he had resided for the past 40 years.

A dedicated public servant, Glenn served his community as an Alachua County Corrections officer for 22 years and was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He cherished his family and his beloved canine companion, Rango.

Glenn was preceded in death by his father, Lon Surratt Jr., and his brother, Marty. He is survived by his wife, Catherine (Nanette) Surratt; his son, Cory; his mother, Sonya; his brother, Richard(Leila); nephews, Michael and Alex; niece, Aleigla; as well as two bonus children, Jessica (Dave) Galvin and Joey (Brittany) Snowden; and four grandchildren.

Services will be held at Bushnell National Cemetery on February 21, 2025, at 9:00 am.
