Frederick Williams

Frederick Lamar Williams was born on January 27, 1951, in Gainesville, Florida, to Nathaniel Whitfield and Mae Francis Williams. He graduated from Lincoln High School and worked at Gainesville Tile.
He was preceded in death by his son, Gerald Jones, and siblings Johnny Leroy Williams, Mary E. Hughes, and Reverend Gail B. Williams-Lloyd.
He leaves behind his sons, Frederick Lamar Williams Jr. and Dwayne Delrise Williams; four loving siblings, KW (Rhonda) Williams, Kenneth (Antje) Williams, Deborah A. Blackshear, and Kathy (Bankole) Assani; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and loved ones.
Frederick will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, October 31, 2026 at Greater Bethel AME Church, 701 SE 43rd Street, Gainesville, FL 32641.
