Edgar Beville III

Edgar Morris Beville Ⅲ (88) of Gainesville, Florida was called home to our lord and savior on Friday, February 16, 2024.

Born on March 5, 1935 in Alachua County, Florida. Edgar was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Edgar attended Gainesville High School where he enjoyed being a member of the Future Farmers of America. After High School, he continued his agriculture career working alongside his father on their family farm. In 1969 he began a long career in the construction industry. After retiring he enjoyed working in his yard and spending quality time with his family. He also spent his life serving the church as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher. He loved serving the Lord.

He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Doris Beville. His two daughters Millie Tate and her husband Keith, and Lynn Beville. His two sisters Susan Groom and Salli Crosby. As well as Six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Edgar Morris Beville Ⅱ and Lillian Waters Beville. His sister Virginia Beville and his daughter Catherine Prevatt.

A funeral service for Mr. Beville will be conducted Monday, February 26, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at the Forest Meadows Cemetery (Central) Mausoleum. Arrangements are in care of Milam Funeral Home, 311. S Main Street, Gainesville, FL 32601.
