Derrick Howard Hoffman Obituary (1985 - 2023)

Derrick Howard Hoffman was born in Cocoa Beach, Fl, on January 23, 1985, the youngest of two children to father Howard C. Hoffman Jr and mother Doris (Bechtel) Hoffman.Derrick graduated from Newberry High School and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Sante Fe College. He enjoyed gaming, fishing, and riding his Suzuki XR motorcycle. He loved his dog Maddie, cat O'Malley and skateboarding with his daughter Jade who he loved more than life! He spent his career working with RTI in Alachua, Fl.Derrick passed away unexpectedly on April 9, 2023. He is preceded in death by his grandmother Diane Hoffman, grandfather Howard C. Hoffman Sr., Oma, Anna Bechtel of Germany, Opa Kurt Bechtel of Germany, and Uncles, Remy Taris of France and Douglas Hoffman.He is survived by daughter Jade Hoffman of Newberry and Trenton, Fl, parents Howard C. Hoffman Jr, and mother Doris Hoffman of Milton, Fl, sister Sabrina Hoffman Wegener, Brother in law Matt Wegener, and nephew Luke of Milton, Fl. His service will be held on April 14 at 2:00 pm at the Newberry Milam Funeral Home at 22405 W. Newberry Rd. Newberry, Fl 32669.
