Claudia Kite

Claudia Elizabeth Hughes Kite passed away on April 5th, 2024. Born on January 28, 1946 in Kenosha, Wisconsin to Brownie and Mary Hughes who have both gone before her.

She is survived by her brother Richard “Dickie” Hughes (Jan). Two nieces, Tina Hughes Freeman and Kelly Hughes Clark. One daughter, Donna Kite Davis (Mikel), granddaughter Courtney Davis and grandson Joshua Davis. One son, Stephen Randall Kite, a grandson, Hunter Kite (Brittany), and great-granddaughter, Ivy. Two sisters-in-law, Judy and Diane Kite and one brother-in-law, Terry Kite (Sandra). One precious dog, Little Bit, as well as many friends we call family.

She married George “Randy” Kite in February 23, 1968, who preceded her in death in Nov. 2019.

Claudia retired after more than 30 years from Southern Bell/BellSouth.

Graveside service will be held at Saluda Cemetery in Orange Heights on Monday, April 8, 2024 at 11:00am.

Services are held in the care of Milam Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Gainesville, Florida, 32601.
