Charlene Mae "Sherrie" Lewis

Charlene "Sherrie" Mae Lewis's morning hugs will be greatly missed by many. Sherrie went home to be with the Lord on January 27, 2023. She was born in Loyal, WI, on September 19, 1941. Sherrie spent her career as a cytotechnologist and supervised the lab that detects cancer cells. She showed her faith by always being available with her motherly support, a listening ear and quiet wisdom. She was known to pray for anyone in need and had a consistent prayer warrior routine of riding her bike and actively praying for everyone in her heart. Sherrie was a compassionate AA sponsor with 36 years of sobriety.She is predeceased by her loving parents, Bob and Marliss Bloom, her husband of 10 years, Joe Lewis, and brother-in-law Pete Finch(Lynn). She is survived by daughters Sue Stoecker (Tom), Sharyl Mulcahy, Bridget Grogan (Tim), Step-daughter Charlene Barbour, and Sons Steve Schuettke (Karen), Scott Schuettke, Brothers Bruce Bloom (Carol), Brian Bloom (Mary Jo), Brad Bloom (Cari), Barry Bloom (Kim), sisters Pam Eiben (George), Lynn Finch, Debbie Holloway(Jack), and Dede Melotz (Mike), and grandchildren Jessica, Tom, Kristin (Cory), Hunter, Tanner (Lexi), Shannon, Cameron, Logan, Tristan, and Joey Klenck, and great-grandchildren James, Nathan, Lucas, and Hadlee Mae. Her service will be Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 2:00 pm at the Zion Lutheran Church, 1700 NW 34th St., Gainesville, Fl 32605. A memorial service is scheduled to be held at Divinity Divine Lutheran Church 900 East Henry Clay Street, Whitefish Bay, WI 53217 on February 25, 2023, with her visitation at 10am - 12pm and her memorial service to follow at noon.
