Blayne Gordon Pierce

Blayne Gordon Pierce passed away on January 28, 2024 surrounded by his loving family and friends. He is pre-deceased by his father William L. Pierce, survived by his mother Janice Pierce; sister Susan (Stephen) Minute; daughter Teagan (Justin) Ingram; former wife Karen Pierce; girlfriend Rosela Woodward and her children Abby and Dylan; and several treasured nieces and nephews. Blayne was also blessed with many close friends and associates. Blayne graduated from Finger Lakes Community College in Theater. He was an accomplished pianist having studied since 7 years old and began studying with Eastman School of Music when he was 8. He became a professional musician at the age of 15. He was a songwriter with many successfully published songs, starting as a pianist and writer with the well-known group Cheater. He also wrote music for other artists. Blayne went on to participate with other musical groups, with his last being Journey2Mars in Mobile, Alabama. A celebration of Blayne's life will be held at Pathway Church on Airport Blvd in Mobile, Alabama on July 3, 2024 at 2:00pm. A celebration of life will also be held in Rochester NY at an upcoming date to be announced.
